Working Group Objective:
To develop a process to forecast materials and services required by the members beyond the project approval horizon.

Benefits:

• Access to a time banded materials and services forecast for internal planning.
• The identification of further opportunities for collaboration between the members. e.g. market analysis and the identification of supply risk, generation of a pipeline for emerging market sourcing, supplier prequalification and factory assessments, collaborative procurement and manufacturing scheduling.

Status:
A recently established Working Group the terms of reference have been agreed and work is now underway to identify the list of materials and services of interest to the members, and to develop the operational model for generating the time banded materials and services forecast.
