Factory assessments: An update was given to the progress of audits conducted and reports were in preparation prior to review by factories. There are currently four grading elements in each reports: Major Non-Conformance, Minor Non-Conformance, Observation and Positive Element and factories will be given opportunity to submit a corrective action plan which will be followed up in three months. Certain members had indicated that Factory Assessment is now embedded in their tendering process.
