Appointment of Achilles’ Business Development Manager

December 18, 2009 - Richard Choi joined Achilles Hong Kong office as the new Business Development Manager on 15th December 2009.

Richard has a diploma in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Information Systems Management. He was previously the Marketing Director, Asia Pacific, for Havells Sylvania, and has also worked as Deputy Sales Director for Sweet & Maxwell, as well as sales management roles for Toshiba, PCCW and Philips. He has good experience selling into China and dealing with China operations.

Richard’s focus will be on deepening and building business for Achilles and for the Asia Pacific Utilities Group in the Southern China and Greater China areas, as well as assisting Achilles main business development initiatives elsewhere. Now that the factory assessment system is being implemented, Achilles is very keen to quickly add suppliers from China.

Elaine Tsui will continue to be the main Account Manager contact for existing APUG members across Asia, although Richard will assist with leveraging relationships with some customers as well.
