Appointment of Achilles’ IT Project Manager

January 6, 2010 - Pranay Desai has commenced as the new IT Project Manager for the Asia Pacific Region, based in the Brisbane office.

Pranay has an extensive background in IT project management consulting for various industries, including Rail and Mining, plus has managed IT development companies in India and Australia. He will work alongside Tony Chan (IT Project Manager, Hong Kong) and together the two will operate as one IT team for APAC.

Pranay’s initial project work will focus on backoffice systems (for insurance monitoring and for the APUG SMS); a new SMS for potential use in the Oil and Gas industry (and/or for other new industry sectors in the APAC region); and some website development.

Both Pranay and Tony will be involved in the transition to Accelerate, and both will support the existing systems, PC’s and infrastructure.
