September 8, 2009 – Following a meeting in New Zealand with Landcare Research, Owen West, Achilles’ Regional Director of Asia Pacific, is now drawing up an implementation plan to rollout carbonReduction as an additional service from Achilles.

carbonReduction is an international comprehensive and collaborative carbon footprinting programme for organisations who want to engage in the measurement, management and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The CR program is an Achilles service, supported by Landcare Research who is a world renowned expert in greenhouse gas emissions measurement. It will provide a CEMARS certification (Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme), an internationally recognized certificate demonstrating scientifically sound evidence of environmental responsibility.
