Supplier Notice: Request for Information for Overhead Line Equipment
06 June 2008
Between the APUG members we have identified an increasing demand for overhead line equipment to support our future maintenance and development projects. Through APUG the members are looking to share in the identification of suppliers to meet our future requirements.
A project has been established under an APUG Working Group to identify and assess sources of overhead line equipment for the members to draw from for their future over head line projects. CLP Power as a founding member of APUG is taking a leading role in this initiative, and has prepared a Request For Information (RFI) on behalf of the APUG members to invite suppliers to participate.
The RFI sets out our requirements and invites suppliers to respond so that we can systematically gain a greater understanding of their abilities, core business and strategic outlook with respect to overhead line equipment.
To streamline the initial collection of information on suppliers who are interested in supplying to the APUG members the RFI specifically requests suppliers to register on the ‘APUG Supplier Information System’ (APUG SIS) by Friday 27/06/08. By registering on APUG SIS, the information that you provide will enable us to carry out an initial assessment of your capabilities to supply overhead line equipment for these projects.
To receive a copy of the RFI document and to register on APUG SIS please contact the APUG SIS Service Desk on (852) 2815 7100 or at apugsis@achilles.com. Alternatively if you have any questions regarding the RFI content you can contact John Burchett, Manager, Strategic Procurement for CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd on (852) 2678 6132 or at burchett@clp.com.hk.
If you are already registered on APUG SIS then please ensure that your registration is maintained and up to date so that we can consider this as part of our assessment and thank you for your participation.
